The Extension Ring assists in raising the Dome Lid which allows you to cook bigger portions of food i.e. meat and poultry. Included with the Dome Extension is the Chicken Roasting Stand. A great added accessory for roasting chicken in an upright position (Beer-Can-Chicken) with the Dome Extension. Also, use it for smoking racks of ribs.
The Chicken Roasting Stand is designed to fit onto the Grill Grid (not included). Each leg sitting at 3, 6, 9, and 12 o’clock. The Chicken Roasting Stand is removable so that the Extension Ring can be used by itself for other purposes. Place the Frying Pan or Wok on top of the Dome Extension to create a “middle of oven rack” ideal for baking. This Extension Ring is 11.75″ in diameter and 3.25″ high.
